Soya nuggets and TVP , features regularly in our Menu at Home. We just love this meaty protein and I try to incorporate these in our meals in variety of way.Tikkis stuffed with TVP, Soya nuggets Pulao, Soya chunks in tomato gravy and also in simple Onion gravy (Recipe I) or restaurant like rich creamy gravy. But my quest for yet another way to cook Nuggets, make me wander in the virtual world of Food blogs, Food Websites, along with pestering my friends (Some of these are established Chefs while some, in making of being a great Chef) who are…

Macaronis got infused in Sindhi Cuisine long back and still remains a hot favorite amongst us. The traditional Sindhi style of Onion Curry combined with the macaronis and Potatoes and dried lily seeds (Phool makhana or Phool Patasha), when served with traditional bhugha chhanwaran (Sindhi Style rice), make up a hearty meal. Today’s recipe is slightly different from the way Sindhis generally make a curry. After enjoying a relaxing vacation of my baby, from school, the life is back on routine tracks. The hectic mornings are back in fashion and the Summer blues paved the way for Monsoon Grey (s). Print Black chickpeas Curry Rating 5.0 from 1…

But I have got a recipe to share with some lovely people, who wanted to know some more ways to relish Lotus stem or Beeh(Bhein). So here I go anyway… Sindhis tend to like Beeh, though it is bland in taste and could be awful with all its HAIRY TALES, but trust me if you can, slicing it in right way, cooking it till perfectly done and combining it with some flavorful spices, is all…

The past whole week was as tedious as it could be. On one hand the kid is facing his final exams at school, which in turn means more of my involvement in his studies, and on other hand, the erratic behavior of this blog (SindhiRasoi) left no stone unturned to drive me crazy. It actually started few weeks back when some friends complained of the crazy way the blog was behaving , with some links working at some point and going kaput at other time. Brushing it off as just some temporary technical glitch, I actually didn’t paid much attention.…

Who likes to mess up with life? Who loves complications? If given a choice who prefers walking on a long hurdled road to a smooth drive? Raise your hands, if you like to get in the way of things, if you like to be in a tricky situation, if trouble is a name of your best pal…. I really, really want to see how do crazy people look like 😉 The gibberish geek talks just put me off, while simple straight forward vocabulary really amazes me. I really can’t understand why people need to take a long unnecessary route to…
