Honey & Oatmeal cookies for Click

Cookies are yet another type of food which i am not really fond off. The Refined flour, sugar and loads of butter is not my way of adding up calories. I will prefer to  indulge in some Chaat or fried savory munchies for same number of  Kcal, then nibbling on some sweet stuff like this.

So what are the cookies doing here, you may wonder. Well anything for Jugalbandits…Even cookies !

This month’s  Click theme is Cookies and here I am with Honey and oatmeal cookies , though bit healthier than plain ones but too sweet for my tastebuds. These comes straight from Café Coffee Day, a place where the Menu hardly have anything to hold my interest, yet it has some nice Ambience to spend few moments with friends

The pic here has a cup of Masala Tea, with Honey and Oatmeal Cookies and the Lovely Cookie Box (partly made from wood) is a gift from My Hubby’s Friend

  5. Hmm… nice cookies, I like cookies but they have to have a dash of chocolate on them. I used to eat the ones by LU, (you know the French Biscuit company) with a chocolate coating.

I wonder whether you don’t like cookies or you feel it adds pounds to the waist line and we the westernized desis are scared to look over weight.

It was interesting to note what the Today’s show host (a morning show on NBC in the US), Katie Couric said on one of her programs that until TV hadn’t arrived in Bhutan, no one cared about going on diet, now everone has gotten this bug and she seemed worried that TV is having a negative impact around the world. Its the women who are starving themselves, why are there no such rules for the guys? The designers in Milan make a dress and tell the model:

you have to fit the dress, the dress is not made for you!
